A journey through our colourful country: States’ Day (III to V)

India is a colourful country and full of diversity. A journey through its states makes you come across people with distinct language, dresses, food habits and different features.

Not only this, each state has its own physical features and is splendid with its own natural resources.

Apart from this each state has its own monuments which showcases its rich architecture and history.

 Therefore, to encourage the students to discover our motherland, Rainbow School organized the activity ‘A journey through our colourful country’ for the students of classes III to V.

The enthusiastic students of class III came dressed in traditional dresses and shared information about food habits, languages, religions and dance forms of different states with their classmates.

The students of class IV depicted varied landforms of the country using clay, sand, wool etc… on the physical map of India.

The students of class V placed the cutouts of different monuments of its respective state on the political map of India and shared information with their classmates.

All these activities helped the children discover more about each state of our country.
