Raising awareness about physical health and mental wellbeing, and various measures to combat global health challenges, the students of Rainbow School (Class X B) celebrated World Health Day conducting a special assembly on 07 April 2022 capturing the theme of 2022 given by the World Health Organization. It is important that everybody need to review the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and inculcate those values in our daily life.

The assembly began with the chanting of Saraswasti Mantra and Gyatri Mantra. The instructions regarding the assembly were given by Bhrithi Bhati. The Thought for the Day was delivered by Rohit Sahu followed by the News Headlines by Khyati. The students Rohit Sahu and Raghvendra enacted to make the students aware about mental and Physical Health. Aditya Kumawat and Anushika Jain demonstrated postures of yoga promoting better digestion and overall health. The students also touched the crux of the problems of the deteriorating health due to untimely eating habits. The students also learnt the art of meditation practically and balancing of the seven chakras present in the human body.

Worthy Principal Ms Seema Dewan sensitized the learners by enlisting the benefits of maintaining better health and keeping the environment clean and healthy by planting more trees in order to restore our Mother Earth. In order to have a long- lasting impact on the minds of the students, plantation was done by the Principal Madam .The assembly fulfilled its objective of developing a deep understanding of the essential link between individual and collective health for a sustainable life.
